Our Policies

Pricing policy

The retail price for our pump is as on the "Our Pumps" page of our website.  For sales in Australia, all our prices include GST.  For international sales, all prices quoted are exclusive of government taxes for individual countries. It is the buyer’s responsibility to pay local taxes.

All pumps are individually customized to meet specifications of the end user.

A pump configured for out-of-water installation includes additional parts, which incur additional costs.

Please enquire for prices of replacement parts as needed.

We reserve the right to increase prices at any time to compensate for increases in manufacturing and delivery costs, as well as any reasonable unforeseen costs including but not limited to any force majeure event.

We offer wholesale prices to distributors and dealers to on-sell our pumps (see below).

Product support

We hold a supply of spare parts, and the user guide on our website explains how to make some replacement parts such as the diaphragm using available local materials.

All pumps are sold with a warranty on all parts excluding diaphragm and leather cups - 10 years for the 320 and five years for the Aquarius.

Our replacement policy requires faulty parts under warranty to be returned at the owner’s expense and to be received by Glockemann Water Pumps prior to replacement parts being sent.  Glockemann Water Pumps will not send replacement parts if faulty parts are lost in transit.  Freight insurance is recommended at the owner’s expense.

Delivery services

We use international transport companies for all our deliveries in Australia and internationally.  Please provide your physical address and we will obtain a freight quote for you. Our prices are ex-factory Mareeba, Queensland and we charge a small packaging and handling fee to deliver the pump from our Mareeba base to transport company depots in Cairns. Customers can also arrange their own transport ex Mareeba, Queensland.

The freight companies’ consignment notes have electronic tracking, and we send the consignment number to the purchaser once the freight company takes delivery of the pump. Freight insurance is available through to final delivery.

A packaged 320 pump weighs around 54kg, depending on its configuration, and the Aquarius is about 25kg..

How to place an order

We will not store your credit card details.

Distributors, dealers and agents

We invite submissions from businesses interested in representing Glockemann Water Pumps around the world.

Distributors

Our distributors are asked to build a regional network of dealers and outlets for a specified region and to support them with marketing and technical backup.  We do not currently offer exclusive distribution territories but do refer market leads that we receive directly to our regional distributors to handle.

If a distributor does not have the technical expertise to advise prospective and actual buyers on design, installation and operation of our pump, we can provide training at our depot at Mareeba in North Queensland or at another mutually agreed location at the Distributor’s expense.

Distributors are required to carry a minimum of two pumps at all times – one for demonstration and one for sale.

We expect our distributors to communicate closely with us and ask that they provide a quarterly sales report and forecasts as well as advice on market conditions to guide our inventory management, pricing strategies and promotional support.

Dealers

Our dealers are required to promote and retail our pump through their retail outlets and provide technical advice and back-up to customers.

If a distributor does not have the technical expertise to advise prospective and actual buyers on design, installation and operation of our pump, we can provide training at our depot at Mareeba in North Queensland or at another mutually agreed location at the Dealer’s expense.
